this month, I am a recluse
I bottle up in my house and refuse to leave for most things.
it’s calm
and warm
and quiet.
I make a nest and I settle in for a few hours
then maybe I relocate
and make another nest
I nap and eat and smoke and get absorbed into some story,
and it’s just so comfortable
and relaxing
and secure.

I’m watching the sixth season of lost again and it just occurred to me that earlier jacob is to the old testament god (i.e. badass, vengeful and just a little crazy) as later jacob is to the new testament god (way more mellow)
