I just Stumbled Upon the Ultra Deep Field, a compilation of photos taken by the Hubble telescope, the “deepest view into the sky by humankind to date.” In it, there are over 10,000 galaxies visible, and have “distances out to times where the universe was just 800 million years old, one seventeenth of its current age.”
Which makes me think about how absolutely absurd it is...
